Heh, yeah I'm always pretty happy to have him not included in lists I could possibly be part of ;)

The answer is that they are all Eagle Scouts :)

I was reminded of the list when the news came this week that a kid had been denied his Eagle Scout medal (http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2012/10/05/162371701/teenage-boy-scout-denied-organizations-top-rank-because-hes-gay?utm_source=NPR&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=20121005) because he came out, and also disagreed with Boy Scouts of America's stance on religion.

And then I was reminded of the Eagle Scouts who have returned their medals (http://boingboing.net/2012/07/23/eagle-scouts-stand-up-to-the-b.html) in protest of BSA's policy on gay Scouts. Which is just heartbreaking.

It's a huge deal. It's not just a little piece of metal on a ribbon.
