D&D moment

So I'm sitting here enjoying a very nice long fanfic (thanks, bear!), working on the second chapter of a fic of my own, and plugging away at the t100+ web site, while Chris, the boys, and a friend of theirs play D&D. I guess it's going well, because all three boys suddenly start jumping up and down, racing around the lower floor and yelling "WE killed an Earth Elemental! We killed an Earth Elemental! We KILLED an EARTH ELEMENTAL!!!"


My friend Marie said yesterday that she believes children are closer to God than we are, because they're more recently descended from heaven to earth. I don't know about God, but if pure joy = heaven, I'd have to say she's right.

Justin: The government is banning pit bulls. FOREVER. Unless you have one. Because the government is saying if you have a pit bull, then, you love it, and it's like your family, but if you don't have one and you want one, SORRY!! You can't have a pit bull. Because they hurt children. And then the parent, if they have a key, will take the key, and PUNCH the pit bull!
