I don't think you're a heartless bitch, I think you are grieving over your mother. Believe me I am sorry for his family, but if I had to chose between Jerry Orbach and my own father, obviously I would want my family to stay intact. By all accounts Jerry Orbach was a nice man and a good person and his death is sad. But it's hard to grieve over someone you have never met, I think that you're feelings are normal, I am just sad for you that your Mom passed away.

You know you don't have to go skiing if you do not want to, you have a career of your own to worry about! Maybe you should stay home and hire a sitter for part of the weekend. You may be pushing yourself too hard.
