how would one correctly pronounce Ximena in Spanish?
Um, the closest approximation would be Heemennah, stress on the "men". Except the H is a hard H, like the German ch in Achtung, but closer to the front of the mouth. (Damn, that's hard to describe). And the EE is not held as long as it would be in English.

I kind of like the X, actually, though I can see why you changed it. But J is a wonderful letter, too. :)
Yeah, the X is cool. I debated the change for a while, but eventually decided the annoying would probably outweigh the cool. Besides, I'm also partial to J; my parents were Julia and Jaime. It's a cool letter :)
