I have been trying to get the ownership changed since late November. I have filled out the online ownership change form three times, the second time being December 6 and the last time being December 27. I also spoke to a customer service manager on December 27, who told me she couldn't do anything to expedite the change but filled out the form herself again, on the same date. I have exchanged a number of e-mails on this matter - ten, I believe, at last count, starting December 4. If you would like, I can forward them all to you.

She bought the computer online. I do not have the invoice number although if that will help, I will certainly look for it. I cannot have her send you an approval for a transfer of ownership, since she died in 2004.
Is there anything I can do to actually get this transfer done? All I want is a new power source for my computer. After this many weeks, three forms filled out, speaking to a supervisor, and handing in the same information over and over and over again, I'm beginning to lose hope.

To be honest, I am not sure anybody at Dell would appreciate my comments at this point in time. Most of them are not printable.
