See, yeah, I was thinking maybe it was Amanda from the old timeline but that wouldn't make sense because she'd been dead for years over there and Spock couldn't have brought her to the new timeline, and the adopted daughter could be... Spock's adopted daughter? No, that doesn't work. Maybe a relative? Who? What? I could think of possibilities to fill in the blanks, but none thrust themselves forward as AHA!! things, you know?
