  • fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent - check
  • cough - check
  • runny nose or stuffy nose - check
  • sore throat
  • body aches
  • headache - check
  • chills - check
  • fatigue or tiredness, which can be extreme - check
  • diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal flu

The above is swine flu, and the checks are what Justin has. The headache has been there for a while, and yesterday he got tired and lay down for a while, had chills, and a slight fever (38.2°C). The runny nose came in at night, and although there's not a lot of coughing, this morning he was sneezing every minute or so. He was doing stuff in the morning today, then lay down at lunchtime and hasn't been able to get up since. We've got Vitamin C, Neo Citran, cold cloths and lots of TLC going, temperature after nap is 39.2°C, and at 6PM we're seeing our doctor.

He really hopes it's the flu, swine or otherwise. "Otherwise if I get the flu and it's worse than this I don't know what I'm going to do..."

It's a sign of how sick he is that the above sentence does not have at least two more italics and some exclamation points at the end :(
