Things it never occurred to me to dream of doing

Cooking Pernese klah and bubbly pies with my kids. I love Anne McCaffrey's Pern series, but I always hated cooking, until Justin got old enough to enjoy doing it. I also disliked coffee and blueberries. Learned to tolerate them because of Chris (coffee) and Justin (blueberries), until they gradually grew on me. And now, here I am, making a drink that's largely coffee-flavoured and a dessert that's half blueberries, thoroughly enjoying the making and looking forward to the consuming. Who knew :)
