Just noticed the date

It's strange how it really doesn't seem possible that it was eight years ago that my mother died. The time elapsed seems both infinitely shorter and longer.

I understand what you mean. My father has been gone almost 21 years. My mother, a little over a year.
I found that with her death, I grieved for my father all over again. Now I miss them both oh so much.

I just hit the 4 year mark for my mom's passing, and I feel exactly the same. Hugs & sympathies.
