It's not the heat, it's the... actually, it's the heat.

It is sunny and 32C (with humidity, 38C) and what do we do today? Stay holed up in the house in the two hottest rooms - the study and the kitchen - finishing off the History Fair projects. Daniel types, edits and prints out everything you ever wanted to know about Marco Polo, and Justin and I bake. This has no logic to it whatsoever. We're all melting, and the house is a mess.

Smells divine, though, with millenia of cakes baking :)

And then: off to the Fair!

OK, the only thing worse than nobody noticing your housekeeping efforts...

... sometimes, is somebody noticing.

I know I should probably be mortified, because it shows that even he noticed the bathroom was getting a little grotty, but still can't stop laughing :D :D :D :D
