toy spree

Took the kids to Toys'R'Us last night, to cash in their $25 gift certificates for their birthdays. Daniel bought a Lego Knight's Kingdom set and a chess board. Justin bought a Barbie fairy and a little Mini Dig treasure pyramid.

I love our kids :)

Those are some pretty awesome toys. *g*

Those toy choices are just perfect! :)

On a similar note...I took that brain gender test and it told me I was 53% female and 47% male. Not too surprising. The best part was that I got Scott to take the test and, guess what? Apparently, Scott's brain was 53% female and 47% male. 'Nuff said. I've always maintained that Scott has honorary ovaries. :) :) :)

Hee! He can join Chris and Sarah's hubby; we called them the Girls With Beards, but could rename the club Men With Ovaries to admit beardless Scott. Hm... we should invite Todd too.

The Men With Ovaries. The coolest group of guys I know :)

I love...

the Knight's Kingdom--we had a toy drive to get symphony tix and I bought one of those for the drive--and the knight with the horse where the horse's armor goes on--way too cool. Of course, I had a castle with knights as a child...

Justin bought a Barbie?

Whatever floats his boat, I guess... : )

Oh, Justin loves Barbies. And My Little Pony. And ballet. And the colour pink. And his toy kitchen, and his apron, and babies.

And lego, guns, swords, pirates, bombs, carpentry tools, wrecking machine toys, any sticklike object that can be used to whack the crap out of something, and Buzz Lightyear.

To quote Chris: Yeah, he's very feminine. But he's also got a lot of masculine traits. ::pause:: He's a lesbian. That's what he is - my son is a lesbian.

Dude, I am so coming over to your house to play. Because *I* still love Barbies. (Yeah, I'm 24 going on 5.)

What's really cool is that you and Chris aren't all like "YOU CAN'T HAVE BARBIES! THOSE ARE GIRLS' TOYS! OMGWTFBBQ!" I'm surprised that they haven't brought She-Ra back - Justin would totally love those too!

LOL Chris and I often joke that we only had children in order to justify buying lots of cool toys :)

No, we're both diehard anti-stereotypists ;)

OMGWTFBBQ!
ROFL!
