And he's mine, all mine. Lucky, lucky me.
So I'm telling Chris last night about someone who shall remain nameless but whose lj-name rhymes with Care, who keeps pushing me to change my utterly asexual G-rated quiltfic into slashy territory despite the fact that I've already written the ending and no, slash wouldn't fit in at all, that's not where the characters are headed, it would change the whole tone of everything and their relationship and -
Chris: What are you talking about? They're men, right? Sex doesn't affect anything for men. It's not like they wake up in the morning thinking about the person they had sex with the night before. Hell, most of the time I barely remember you the next day!

And for some reason at this point I feel the need to point out that quilt!Harry, while existing in a fic of virginal purity, is not actually a virgin. I've made him 38. I would hope even poor beleaguered Harry might get some before then, whether I wrote about it or not ;)

my quiltfic of virginal purity will [not] be sullied by any slashicity.
...no, it will be sullied by DRACO AND HARRY'S BODILY FLUIDS, which will soon be spraying EVERYWHERE in wave after wave of orgasmic bliss.
(sorry, I just squicked myself)

That's kind of hilarious.
But I have to agree with Animaltalker--he'd've gotten a smack from me for that one.

you know something
they can claim they don't remember who they screwed the night before, but they can also claim temporary insanity if they should happen to discover "their" woman with another man. Now if they have instant amnesia about who they fucked the night before then how in the hell can they claim any sort of trauma about someone else enjoying the pleasures of the same woman?
