Today's parenting theme is: Exhaustion. Justin woke up hyper, like yesterday, and at 8:48 has already had one minor freak-out and two time-outs. He's got that look about him - the one that says he's got too much going on inside to contain it all in one little 50lb body. Can't say Good morning; has to shout it. Can't walk up the stairs; has to stomp on every single step. Can't just take his breakfast bowl from me; he has to snatch it. Can't wipe the table; has to pummel it with the dishcloth.

ninja_kat was up to having visitors and coming by to say hi. Now I'm not so sure. That's still my goal, but I think it'll have to be after walking around with them until they're worn out. Or, if we never reach that happy state, after Chris comes home. We'll see.
