Today's parenting theme is: Exhaustion. Justin woke up hyper, like yesterday, and at 8:48 has already had one minor freak-out and two time-outs. He's got that look about him - the one that says he's got too much going on inside to contain it all in one little 50lb body. Can't say Good morning; has to shout it. Can't walk up the stairs; has to stomp on every single step. Can't just take his breakfast bowl from me; he has to snatch it. Can't wipe the table; has to pummel it with the dishcloth.

So. My plan today was to see if [livejournal.com profile] ninja_kat was up to having visitors and coming by to say hi. Now I'm not so sure. That's still my goal, but I think it'll have to be after walking around with them until they're worn out. Or, if we never reach that happy state, after Chris comes home. We'll see.

You know... when you describe his actions, I can SEE them in my head. I don't know if that's because I met your little bundle of energy but I thought it was worth saying. And, it made me smile. I'm not sure if that makes me sadistic or what, but... :)

LOL well I don't know either, but if it gave you a smile, considering the amount of crap you're dealing with right now, then it's a Good Thing ;)
