True Lies Meme

Still feeling totally worried and anxious about the camping situation. Trying to keep busy and not think about it.

So, here's a meme, from [livejournal.com profile] sangerin. Five firsts. One isn't true. Pick which.

1. My partner proposed with a 25c vending machine ring.
2. I once rode a mule down the Grand Canyon and back.
3. I was part of the St. Mary's Cathedral choir for a year.
4. I was pregnant when I got married.
5. I once sailed solo across Lake Ontario.

And now, back to ADR. This time we're supposed to be negotiating a settlement between a factory that makes electronics parts, and a company that sells generators. Thrilling, thrilling stuff.

Later Edit:
  1. Is a requirements contract legally binding?
    • Northen Railway v. Witham
    • Wood v. Lucy, Lady Duff-Gordon
    • May & Butcher v. The King
    • Foley v. Classique Coaches

  2. Does the warranty clause apply to this breach?
    • Hunter Engineering v. Syncrude
    • Fraser Jewellers v. Dominion Electric

  3. What's the effect of the waiver of warranty, if there was one?
    • Gilbert Steel v. University Construction
    • Scott v. Merit Investment

  4. Can Generator prove Applications waived the warranty?
  5. What is the effect of the Arbitration Clause?
    • Greenwood Shopping Plaze v. Beattie
    • London Drugs V. Keuhne & Nagel International

Dude, what a cool meme. :) I'm guessing number four, but that's contingent upon me correctly doing math, which is never a sure thing. In other words, I'm probably wrong.

Yeah, what the hell. I'll guess four, too.

In other words, I'm probably wrong.

Yup, you are ;)

I was married in mid-June of 1996. Daniel was born in January of 1997. We had done a pregnancy test before the wedding, because we'd been trying to conceive for about four months and I hadn't had a drink since we started trying, but I wanted to drink at my own wedding, damn it.

Test came back negative. I drank. A lot. Then found out I was pregnant. Pickled Daniel pretty good. 'Sokay, though, it doesn't seem to have done him any harm, since he was probably only a 48-cell organism, un-implanted and floating around in the amnio-alcoholic fluid.

In that case, I'm going with Lake Ontario.

Pickled Daniel pretty good.

::snerk:: Poor pickled baby.

However, like you said...doesn't seem to have done him any harm, especially given the kinds of questions he was asking you all the other day. :)

Well I don't know you that well yet, but my first guess was number 5.

;)

#5 is kind of the easy option, which means it's probably true. But all the others ring as "possible" (which is the point, I guess). Nevertheless, I'm going with #5.
