GIP - Narnia

Following a Narnia screencap posting by [livejournal.com profile] mirabellawotr the other day, I kind of... um...

...yeah, I went just a liittle bit icon-happy last night. If anybody wants any of these, just LMK and go ahead and take 'em.

...

...

... and now back to my CivPro notes. ::yawn:: Is it exam time yet?

I took #3, thank you.

I haven't seen the movie yet so I don't know what #3 represents--I just thought it was lovely and spiritual.

It is, actually. It's Aslan (AKA God) talking with Edmund (AKA the Prodigal Sibling). Beautiful scene in both the book and the movie, made even more so because neither reveals exactly what Aslan and Edmund talk about.

Oooooh, pretty! Did you manage to get any of the kids when they were older, just before they rediscovered the wardrobe?

Oooh! No, I didn't!

But now I have!

*happy squee*

*tries to figure out which one is Lucy*

::tries very hard not to think of Older!Lucy/Tumnus and fails miserably::

Numbers 2 and 3. I actually thought she looked very plausibly like Lucy might look like when she's older. As did Peter - in fact, I'm going to go check that it's not the same actor, with a beard. Susan and Edmund, not so much, IMHO.

[identity profile] leaper182.livejournal.com 2006-04-11 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Teh pretty Lucy! But yeah, Older!Susan-and-Edmund looked all furny.

[identity profile] stephantom.livejournal.com 2006-04-11 12:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Older Lucy is played by young Lucy (that is, Georgie Henley)'s big sister. I also thought she seemed the most believable of the old versions of the siblings.

I actually kind of thought Edmund did look like Edmund, but I agree about Susan not seeming like Susan really...

And leaper, I too have a weakness for Older!Lucy/Tumnus. Sigh.

Hee, yay! I love Narnia.

[identity profile] ciroccoj.livejournal.com 2006-04-11 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Hee - I actually decided to make my own Narnia icons out of envy over yours :)

[identity profile] stephantom.livejournal.com 2006-04-11 12:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe. Well, they look great. :)

Mine were made by [livejournal.com profile] thehush.

Grabbed Queen Susan, Queen Lucy, Susan Archer 2 and Smiling Professor.

These are gorgeous. I love this movie. (Still love the book more, though *g*)

Cool! I love the Susan Archer 2 :)

I love this movie. (Still love the book more, though *g*)
It's a tough choice, for me. The book wins by a hair's breadth, but the beauty of the film version is awfully compelling.

And I love your icon :) :)
