Going to spend the day doing completely pointless computer things. ::happy sigh:: Kids are in day care and school - Justin's day care is paid up until May 1, so I'm taking advantage of the next few days to do all the stuff I won't have time to do after he's home. Like... anything.

My mom called last night to let me know that her tests came back and she's officially in remission. Funny, the way you can convince yourself of the most amazing things. I had convinced myself that since her cancer was caught early and is highly treatable, that I felt sorry for the distress she was going through, but was quite unworried about her actual prognosis. But then she told me she was OK, and I almost started crying on the phone. The mind is a strange thing.

Needless to say, she's pretty happy. Each treatment kept getting worse than the one before (which is a good sign - the worse your treatments, the more likely they are to be working) but that didn't make her feel any better at all. I don't know if she still has to do the last few treatments or not, but... thank God. They worked.

Off to wander through the ether. Whee!!
