Chris went grocery shopping with the kids yesterday. Justin was in the cart and Daniel was walking beside Chris but kept goofing off and pretending he was tipping over and careening and basically driving Chris nuts.

"The world is tilted, Daddy!" he explained when Chris told him to cut it out.

"No, it's not. Daniel, stop that."

"But it is! It's tilted!"

"No, it's not! Behave yourself!"

This repeated about twenty times, until finally Chris had enough and said, "Look, if the world really is tilted to you, then you're not safe to be walking around on your own. So into the cart you go!" and he picked him up and put him in the cart next to Justin.

"But DADDY!! IT IS tilted relative to Saturn!!!" Daniel wailed.

God damn. So Chris lifted him out and deposited him back on the ground. I guess he worked out some way of walking normally despite the world's precarious tilt ;)
