ciroccojFinal Contracts class. I am now trying to decipher a classmate's Legislation notes for the classes I missed, and getting nowhere mighty fast. Her first sentence is: Restrictive: functions like a descriptive phrase that/which/no pune?
So I'm taking a little brain break before going off to pick up Justin.
1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"Subject to sections 4 &6"
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The wall.
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Um... "The Gas Man", season 3 finale of H:LOTS.
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
3:00pm
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
2:43pm
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Other people typing and a couple of people whispering.
7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?
This morning, walking from the parking lot to the law building.
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
My e-mail, I think.
9: What are you wearing?
Black boots, black jeans, black shirt, reddish t-shirt.
10: Did you dream last night?
Don't think so.
11: When did you last laugh?
During my Contracts class, oddly enough.
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?

13: Seen anything weird lately?
A classmate in my Contracts class who went on a rant about the court re-writing a contract freely entered into by two commercial parties of equal bargaining power. Sweetie, chill. Please. It happened in 1967, and the decision was eventually reversed. And in any case, quit ragging on the prof for teaching the case because it certainly wasn't her fault - she was probably about 7 years old when it happened.
14: What is the last film you saw?
Finding Nemo on DVD.
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
A debtless life. Then a year's sabbatical for Chris.
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
Um... my children's middle names are Merlin and Wolf.
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
No more greed.
19: Do you like to dance?
Yeah.
20: George Bush: is he really doing Dick Cheney?

Hm. Well, I do think we need to get rid of all nuclear warheads. And I think Bush is probably the best man to get rid of them, in that his next party trick will probably involve hurling them at anybody who doesn't agree with him. What with him being a power-crazy nutcase and all.
And to echokalio_plaid, I am eternally grateful he's not in charge of my country. (Not officially, at any rate.)

Done it. Didn't like it. Wouldn't want to for longer than a few months.

Prof smiles. "Well, I can't wait to hear your Appeals Court decisions. 'I hereby find in favour of the appellant because the respondent's argument sucks.'"
