Not a good way to start off the day. I've left my course outlines and blank paper in the car. Which is parked about a 10-minute walk away.

But hey, at least I can access the course website for my ADR course. Which means I can ::yawn:: do my assignment which was due yesterday.

This is too cute to miss: Scientists Discover Why Cookies Crumble. I'm sure glad they figured it out, because it's been keeping me awake at night lately.

Tories lost (not you, [livejournal.com profile] tobiascharity). Liberals got a huge majority. Here's the breakdown for those who care:
Ontario Election 2003 )

What a relief. Would've liked a stronger showing for the NDP, but you can't have it all.

So. Back to work. On today's agenda:
  • ADR:
    • Finish readings

  • Property: Finders
    • White v. Alton-Lewis Ltd. et al.
    • Trachuk v. Olinek
    • Look up all the Mossman readings
    • Make list of readings I've missed so far

  • Contracts

...would be more exciting than this.

I am mind-numbingly bored. Spectacularly so. Monumentally bored. If anybody's read Stakeout, a fic I wrote based on Lennie and Rey being on, well, a stakeout, and nearly dying of boredom... I sure wish my life right now was that grippingly interesting.

Doing my ADR assignment, trying to figure out the competing positions and interests of a mall manager, security guard, mall patron/father, and mall patron/son. Mall has a security problem with bad teenagers, manager tells guard to deal with it, guard tosses out a suspicious-looking blue-haired teen, and it turns out the kid was just babysitting his two younger brothers while dad was out shopping in the mall.

::jaw cracking as I yawn::
