Pretty good day so far.

• Wrote something! It wasn't very good, and will probably not be posted, but hey. It's something. Which is rather better than, say, nothing.
  
  
• Got a get-well card from somebody I've actually never met, to go with the wedding card I sent to two people I've never actually met. The web is an incredible place. Thanks, bear! You made my day :D :D :D

• Got an appointment with GyneGuy! I was supposed to get one 4-6 weeks after the surgery, but the earliest they could fit me in at the hospital was May 7. 10 weeks after the surgery. ( TMI! )
  So I called his clinic and got an appt for April 5 instead. Much better.
  
  
• I may be going back to school next week. We'll see how it goes. I proposed returning sooner than expected to Chris, expecting him to have a conniption, but he actually agreed. Phew. I don't much like arguing medical matters with a doctor, because we always end up at the same impasse: he knows far more about medicine, but it's my body.
  
  
• Got a plethora of absolutely hilarious LOTR sites from my friend Sarah. One of them, the Diary of Legolas, actually hurt me quite severely. Healing abdominal incision and such entries as "I love all this running around! My butt is actually firmer - is that even possible?" do not go well together. And Chris and I keep saying "Still prettiest!" to each other.

My Preciousss!!

Chris found my fountain pen!!

I love fountain pens. Shaeffer used to sell them for $10 and I would buy about 3 per year, because I kept losing them. Then they discontinued the $10 ones and only sold $120 ones. At that price, since they didn't come with a bidet, I didn't buy them, but oh, how I mourned my penlessness.

Then I found one for $30 and saved up for it by not buying snacks at school. Every day I didn't buy a snack, I gave myself $2 until I'd saved up $30. Then I bought it. My lovely. My darling. My preciousss.

And then I lost it about two weeks later, before writing my Christmas cards. Mourned my pen. Wrote cards in ballpoint. Ick.

And now Chris FOUND IT!! On the FLOOR OF THE CAR!! Yippee!
