To Sleep, Perchance
May. 21st, 2004 08:41 amOK, I've been reading other people's weird dreams for months now and wondering why I don't seem to have any. And the one weird dream I had in the last several months was so horrifying I didn't even want to think about it, let alone re-tell it. (Justin falling down a 40'+ drop in the floor. Nuff said.)
So last night, I don't know what happened, but for some reason...
( huh? )
There you go. Freud, knock yourself out.
Justin dreamed last night too, but he didn't want to tell us about it this morning. Whatever it was, it was disturbing enough to wake him up around 4am. He came into our room crying hysterically, woke me up from the above dream, and insisted that Daddy needed to come sleep in his room and stay and never, never leave. Ever. Poor kid. I take it he wasn't dreaming about yellow-ice-crusted poodles.
Or maybe he was. In the light of day, that actually seems rather terrifying, now that I think about it.
