  • Funny how you don't realize how much you rely on lj until it's down for a long time...

    ::waves:: Hey everybody! Welcome back!

  • Home schooled yesterday. Went well. I love this age. Have I said that enough times this year? I love this age. You can get so much done without it being a major hassle. So very, very, very different from the baby years, where at the end of the day I was usually exhausted and had very little to show for it. Except the kid was, you know, still alive.

    From Daniel's homeschooling journal:

    I wrote a letter to Sandra, I won a game of settlers of Catan and won a game of Carcassonne. I went to quoir also.

  • Got my marks back for Drafting, ADR, and Int'l Env Law. P for Drafting (it's Pass/Fail), A- for ADR, A for Int'l Env Law.

    8o

    Nobody is more surprised than me.

    This means that my Env Paper, that I worked on all night in Calgary, was actually considered semi-decent. My my, but the quality expected from law school essays has declined.

  • Currently reading CyberRace, by Jerry Krang. Really interesting stuff. Fave quote so far: By making it easier for us to wear a racial veil, cyberspace promotes racial anonymity. This prompts fantasies about realizing Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream in cyberspace. In the digital remix version, people are judged by the content of their text-characters, not the colour of their skin."

  • To bed.
