guess what I should be doing right now?
Feb. 9th, 2005 12:16 pmI should be reading my Administrative Law or Constitutional Law texts.
But then I would want to gouge my own eyes out, as I've wanted to for the last two days. I'm slightly behind in Admin, on track for Const, and need to take a break before I go postal on MBPU.
So, here's my break: passing on interesting links from
lonejaguar about gay marriage.
Reading that last one, I came across a poll that apparently said that 66% of Canadians oppose gay marriage. Which puzzled me, because I've only ever seen polls that state that somewhere between 49 to 54% of Canadians support it. I went looking, and found this article: ( Tories play gay marriage numbers game )

- Group wants U.S. out of gay debate (including the fact that apparently Americans have been calling our MPs to tell them how to vote on the gay marriage bill. WTF?!)
- Group calls for boycott of Famous Players over same-sex ad
- Bill Would Remove Pennsylvania Gay Hate Crime Protections (very, very sad)
- The danger in same-sex marriages (tongue-in-cheek - hee ;)
