The mountains were high, and so were we

Darn, this is a totally inappropriate song to get stuck in your head when there's kids around, but there it was today, as the boys and I went sledding and I saw snowboarders on the hill:

In honour of Ross Rebagliati, who won a gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, only to have it taken away for testing positive for pot.

I took the digital camera to take a picture of the hill and all the merry sledders, but the battery died when we got there. Must remember to recharge the thing once in a while.

Daniel telling Chris about sledding today, and recounting how much snow he got in his face the first time I went on the sled with him and Justin. "It was flying into my face the whole way down! I think it was because of the ENORMOUS weight!!"
