( Canadians can have group sex in clubs - top court )
Really made me sit up and say WTF?! when I first set eyes on the story; I read the title as "Canadians can have group sex in court".

Daniel: Yeah. I had my adenoids out, but my conchae keep getting swollen up.
Daniel: (about his steaming plate of spaghetti) It's like an edible, yummy heat source. (later) The good thing is, I get nutrition and energy. The bad thing is, I'm eating my heater.
Daniel: Oh! I can sit on the heating grate! It feels good on my triceps.
Chris: Which oatmeal is your favourite?
Justin: Well the dinosaur one is amazing, but what I really prefer is some variety in my food.
Me: Five years ago his favourite word was "gub".

In other news, I was beyond exhausted today, after three rather gruelling days and nights. I almost - almost - had a flashback to early parenthood.
Then I remembered that I felt much more tired than this all the time during the first year of each of my kids' lives, and got a grip.

- Your LiveJournal user name and what it means:
Cirocco Jones, the heroine of John Varley's Titan-Wizard-Demon trilogy, which I was reading 15 years ago when I first needed an internet pseudonym. - On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are?
No idea. I think 8, but I reserve the right to be dead wrong. - How much about your life do you post to LJ?
Not that much, actually. The highlights, or funny bits, or things that make me stop and think. Most of my posts tend to be non-RL related - fic, politics, memes, song lyrics. - Is there anything you refuse to post about?
Refuse? I don't think so. Simply not post? Probably stuff like explicit (real) sex or explicit medical info. Doesn't bother me at all when other people do, which is good because about 1/3 of my flist does so on a regular basis, but it's not something I, personally, post. - On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
5? - Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
AFAIK, two people,bikerdoc and
ninja_kat :)
- What proportion of your posts are friends only?
::looking back:: One in twenty or so. - What are your top five favorite interests on LJ?
After much winnowing and dithering and winnowing, they are- choirs
- fan fiction
- grammar
- home schooling
- politics
- choirs
- How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?
Not at all, any more. I startedthursday100plus, now in the capable hands of
bast2 :)
- How often do you respond to/comment on other people's journals?
Hm... no idea. I think maybe two or three times a day, on average. - Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals?
Read other journals. - Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument on LJ (or did it to someone else)?
Nope. Though I did get one person who said a few things that made me ask my flist their advice on what to do. Got a spate of variations on "ban her". Decided to wait and see if she ever posted again; she didn't, so I didn't :) - Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
See above :) - Who are your four favorite LJ friend(s) and why?
Oh damn. That's too tough to call, actually. I can pare it down to about 10 people if really pressed. - What color is your keyboard?
White-beige. - Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
Because they added me. I think I've only ever added five people on my own initiative. Keep meaning to do it more, as I love meeting new people. - Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
Pretty much, yeah. - What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
Poor spelling/grammar, or nut-jobbiness. The only person I ever added who I almost regretted adding tended to post about shopping for clothes/shoes/other goodies every other day. She dropped me, though, in a mass-winnowing of her flist, and I did the same. Really nice girl, just didn't have anything in common with her. - Is your "significant other" on LJ?
Yup :) - Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
I have! Three people!sugar_kane59,
lonejaguar, and
heathers. And I'd love to meet more :)
