I have fallen in fandom-love

There's this guy, see. Almost as brilliant as Jack McCoy. More arrogant than Rey Curtis. Needs a bit of aging to get as cynical as Lennie Briscoe, but he's on his way. As opinionated as Abbie Carmichael. More cruelly funny than Draco Malfoy. Not my type physically, but then again, neither are Jack or Lennie, (ducking various projectiles from Jack and Lennie fans), so that doesn't really matter much in the grand scheme of things.

So yeah. I'm in love. Expect reams and reams of fanfic from me in the next few months.

Except, don't. Expect a sudden cessation of this lj, because this wonderful guy is not a fictional character but one of my fellow Sr. Eds at the Law Review, and I doubt they'll let me update from the Big House after I'm arrested for pushing his brilliant arrogant sarcastic ass out the fifth-floor window of the Law Review office.

Hating my life so much right now. So much.

So, this extra icons for long-time paid members thing. About as wise as handing me a jar of peanut butter and a spoon :)

First off, I dug out two old icons of mine that I'd loved but had to consign to the nether reaches of my hard drive:

The first was a gift from bear, because I was AngstGirl and my angst was 95% Rey-flavoured, and the second was a gift from tobiascharity, from back when I was exsanguinating courtesy of a massive fibroid.

Then I downloaded a kinder, gentler GIF animation program, and finally managed to get this icon in under 40K! Happiness.



Celebrated by watching it go over and over and over and over again, and picturing my fandom-love fellow Sr. Editor as the target. I think I may have anger issues.

Then, using the handy-dandy new animation program, I made another animated icon with text by mistful, from her mockumentary of Harry Potter Goblet of Fire:



Incidentally, that's the same lady who wrote the mocksummary of Troy that resulted in my "But baby" icon, a few months ago:
