Vote vote vote
Nov. 13th, 2006 05:59 pmSo it's election day in Ottawa, and our incumbent mayor is trailing waaay behind Larry O'Brien and Alex Munter. It's between the bullethead and the gay rights activist. Guess who I'm going to vote for?
ETA: Well, the results aren't final, but they may as well be, and the bullethead vote was out in full force tonight. Bugger. Landslide for O'Brien, contrary to what was expected, which was neck-and-neck between him and Munter with Munter holding a slight lead.
I really wonder what happened in the last week to change that, because I didn't see anything in the news other than the "Homosexual Supremacy" letters, which AFAIK didn't even get much play off the internets.
Oh well. It's only a municipal election. Disappointing as heck, but livable.
