Freakin' cold
Jan. 4th, 2007 09:58 pmI'm freezing. We must still have the heat on low from the holidays or something. It's kind of weird; all day I've been thinking about how overly warm it is outside. Beginning of January, and there's grass visible outside and above-zero temperatures. WTF?
Started my Aboriginal Law class today, then came home and took a looong nap. Got up, puttered about dealing with suitcases & other travel-related stuff, then went to pick up my textbooks. Tomorrow we've got a speaker, a Cree Elder coming in to talk to us. Should be interesting. Then back to puttering, catching up on e-mails, etc etc.
Oh, mustn't forget a conversation we had today:
Justin: This was a present from my first girlfriend that I had.
Me: ::struggling not to laugh:: Oh yeah? Who was that?
Justin: Um... ::thinking hard:: Allie. Not Halle. Allie. Then Emma was my girlfriend.
OK, kid. Can't keep track of your various girlfriends at the tender age of six. I sense a tumultuous adolescence in our future.
