Turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, cranberries, apple pie, pumpkin pie, whipped cream, rose wine and white wine.
The house is a mess, wrapping paper and toys everywhere, we practically ate in our jammies, and we were a nuclear family only. I don't actually remember the last time we didn't spend Christmas with the extended family. We missed them, but I think we really needed the low-stress-ness of staying home and just doing the food, no dressing up or top-to-bottom house cleaning & decorating, or anything, just for this year. We'll happily do the extended family thing again next year :)
And now, because Christmas isn't truly Christmas until you've listened to at least one song that you don't want to explain to the kiddies:
