  Is what nine hundred dollars' worth of Scouts Canada popcorn looks like. Further proof that my children are in no way related to me: as a child I think I may have sold, like, a box of petunias for my choir - and my mom probably helped with that. I was painfully shy. My kids? Found out that Scouts Canada offered some amazing prizes the more you sold, and now our entire neighbourhood will be munching on Scouts' popcorn for about a year or so.

  Is what a near domestic disaster looks like. A few days ago I turned on the dishwasher, walked away, wandered back into the kitchen at a random moment in time (during a rinse cycle) and discovered that several dishcloths in the sink were apparently impeding proper drainage. Thirty seconds later and my floor would've looked lovely.
  
  
• About a foot of snow today. Cubs was cancelled. Predicting freezing rain overnight. Marvelous.
