Random stuff

• I've been wondering where the hell our teaspoons have been disappearing to lately. I know now. There's a pile of them next to my computer. ::ahem::
  
  
• Blue belt is a heck of a lot of fun. But I hurt. A lot.
  
  
• Going to Cosmic Adventures with many homeschooling mamas tomorrow. Yay! I've missed the regular gatherings this year. And I'm not sure why it took the mom of six little kids to get us all organized...
  
  
• Brinks came on Monday to pick up the MS Readathon money. Youngish guy & elderly guy. Elderly guy paused in the middle of his Brinksmanship and said curiously, "What's that music?"
  
  "Indigo Girls. Closer to Fine."
  
  "Huh. Never heard of them. Really good music. Indigo Girls. Have to remember that."
  
  
• We raised over $1000 this year. About a third of it was from one kid.
  
  
• Daniel is not taking his computer time for five days. He initially suggested seven. This was after losing it during D&D. We told him the freakout hadn't been that bad. 'Cause it wasn't. It was just dumb.
  
  
• My choir is singing The Messiah. I am in love with it once more, despite the endless Amen section.
  
  
• Just finished reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe the boys yesterday. Starting The Horse and His Boy today, I think.
