Two reasons for awe

1. Chris appears to have fixed our connection. Waved a dead chicken at it and now it's working.
   
   
2. I will never use freehand to cross-stitch writing again.

Kitchen advice:

If you peel a potato (or sweet potato), and you have a "Potato" setting on your microwave, DO NOT use the "Potato" setting to nuke your peeled potato (or sweet potato).

Unless it's not too cold to open all the windows and doors to let the smoke out, and you live in a house full of scientifically curious folks, who will think it's really cool and will think about studying the rock-hard and internally charred potato (or sweet potato) tomorrow for Science class to figure out what made it turn out like that.
