TKD friendship tournament

Got silver for pattern today. No big deal; I was one of only three women competing, and badly screwed up my pattern on the first try. Happily, my opponent apparently did hers completely wrong, so I didn't come in dead last. And my friend Winnie, on her first TKD tournament, beat me and got the gold. My opponent got to take home a gold too, when she beat me in sparring.

Justin got gold for sparring and silver for his pattern, or possibly the other way around. Daniel got silver for sparring. It was only a friendship tournament, but it's nice for the kids to compete and get something for their trouble, even if it's only within a very small competitive group. Helps their self-confidence.

Chris got nothing. He slept in. For a grown-up, that's probably the biggest prize of all :)
