It's much healthier than it sounds.
Feb. 12th, 2010 08:55 pm- Was going to go to Old Folks' TKD tonight. Bailed out because Chris is away gaming and I prefer TKD class with him. It's kind of date-like. Yes, when we go on dates, we hit each other. It's much healthier than it sounds.
- Tomorrow: TKD, lunch, Staples to get printer ink, Toys'R'Us (possibly grocery store) for loot bags & check on cakes, tidy for D&D. 13 children confirmed for Sunday. Thank God for faux-twin births, so we only do this once a year.
- I am contemplating making a PG13 version of something I wrote. Which is funny to me chiefly because I used to write nothing but PG13.
- Today's Parenting Through Puberty discovery: Daniel's shoulders are beginning to broaden out.
- Must some day compile a list of Most Amazing Facts about Canadian health care that I've heard/read during the US debates. Gosh but they're inventive down there. Dunno which is my favourite: Canadians have their family doctors assigned to them by the government, or Canadians routinely come down to the US for "real" medical treatment, or Canadians are forced to turn to midwives because our obstetrical care is so godawful.
No, seriously! Skippy's Rantyblog said so! It must be true!
Hey, I'm like a Canadian Medical System in-law, in that I sorta married into it through Chris. I can bend your ear for a good long time about its various real shortcomings. But facts don't seem to concern some of the folks down south, so I should probably keep 'em to myself. - The Olympics start today, right? ::is embarrassingly clued-out::
- Sure hope the boys' cakes don't end up on this site.
