• Surreal moment this morning when I realized that every one of the five home schooling moms chatting this morning identified as atheist/agnostic.
  
  
• Looking forward to seeing Chris' little sister and meeting her fiance before the wedding. And looking forward to seeing our kids' godparents and our godchildren's parents. Figure that one out of you can.
  
  
• Just bought tickets to the Harry Potter Exhibit at the Ontario Science Center!
  
  Nearly freaked when I saw the prices though, and congratulated myself over not having told the boys we were going to see it, because at $70 for an exhibit? Ah, no. Not unless you can actually play Quidditch.
  
  Turns out that includes admission to the museum. All righty then!
  
  
• Did you know that it's possible that all surviving Germanic languages, with the exception of German, Icelandic, Faroese and Elfdalian, have lost case declension, at least as far as nouns and adjectives are concerned? Because let me tell you, I did not.

Earth Fail

Justin: Is it Earth Day?
Me: Yes it is.
Justin: Are we doing anything for Earth Day?
Me: Oh, you bet. We are going to drive to Toronto, instead of taking a plane, and we are going to bring our own food in reusable containers instead of buying food at fast-food places that use throwaway containers.
Justin: ...
Me: ::smiles winningly::
Justin: That's kind of pathetic.
Me: Yes. Yes it is.
