So. Freaking. Tired.
Jul. 20th, 2011 10:57 pmBiked home in humidex 36C-38C. Got off and walked up the last of the killer hill, which I haven't done since we began this whole biking thing, because I hadn't packed water (never needed it till today) and I figured dying of heat exhaustion today would be embarrassing :/
Once again thanking god for our general good health. Or, you know, thanking the universe or karma or random chance or whatever. Just being grateful to be of relatively sound body. Over ideal weight, but still able to put in 1.5 hours of biking and 1.5 hours of TKD today without dying. Despite kinda wishing I could dieonce or twice more than a few times.
Jehovah continues the slow process of getting used to Apollo. Apollo continues the business of being cuter than any animal has a right to be. Justin is thrilled. Jehovah, dubious.
House a bit of a mess. Must do something about that.
Daniel's at band camp, and practicing flute in his spare moments. You know, I taught him piano and art for five years, and he never did more than dutifully practice his required time and plod through his art assignments. Then he goes to school and finds the flute and a teacher who loves comic books, and all of a sudden he's totally jazzed and playing and drawing with no outside direction at all.
Saw Deathly Hallows Pt II. ♥♥♥♥
I mean, it's not perfect, but ♥♥♥♥ nevertheless.
OK. Off to put the kids to bed and then finish the work I took home last night and then zzzzzzz.
