Dumb day yesterday, which I was going to rant about because it included an initially amusing, eventually irritating, and finally infuriating dumbass fellow Assistant Editor who apparently thought all the increasingly frantic pleas from the senior staff to start working on our articles NOW were written and mailed solely for the amusement of said senior staff.

Odd day today, consisting of getting my Drafting assignment done, putting my sources in order, going to counseling and then attending an ADR simulation with a guy from Temuco, Chile. All sorts of counseling-related thoughts in my head.

But whatever. Because sometimes when you hear about somebody who's really going through a hard time, it helps you realize just how blessed you really are.

Sweetie, there's a candle burning in the window for you, in hopes that you'll come out of this OK soon. And there's many of us praying for you, and sending good thoughts, warm wishes, and lots of love and caring your way.
