From the mouths of Beavers
Nov. 25th, 2004 08:02 pmBeavers getting a tour of the local fire station. A fireman is telling them that if their pet dies, they can always go to the pet store and get a new one (which, BTW, eep. Don't know about his pets, but ours would not be that easily replaceable). "But," he tells them, "if you died in a fire, your mom and dad couldn't just get a new kid to replace you."
"Why?" asks one of the Beavers.
"Because there aren't any kid stores," the fireman says.
"Did there used to be?" asks the kid.
