Winter Wonderland

Um, yeah. About freezing rain. It often looks real pretty the day after, because there's a layer of bright shiny over everything. But it's not great to drive on, walk on, and try to stand on without gravity and frictionlessness tag-teaming you to make your butt meet the bright shiny as often as possible.

Today's post-freezing rain is a thick, thick coating of very smooth ice over everything, so that the minute you step outside you feel like you're walking on glass covered with oil. And what's most, it's a grey blah day today, so it's not even pretty out there.

Ick.
