feeling festive
Dec. 26th, 2004 12:39 amToo full of Christmas turkey, too much packing to be able to update properly. Except that I'm very very glad we came here instead of spending the first Christmas without my mom in Ottawa. I think that would have been a little too sad this year.
Must go pack. Must somehow fit enough presents to make [random poor little rich girl heiress of the decade] blush into our suitcases.
Oh and cross posted to
recsjudicata:
OK, I've got to be the biggest sap that's ever been, but the radio is on a Christimas fluff-fest as I pack up to go home, and it reminded me of this story. L&O Classique, from the apocrypha archives, Rey Curtis/Jamie Ross (and yes, I'm a big sap for that pairing too):
Let It Snow, by Maisie and Ro.
And now for something completely different:
Christmas in Middle-Earth, aka "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Flaming Eye."
