Actually, they're exactly three years and one day apart; 29-01-00 and 30-01-97. In 2000, Jan 30 was a Sunday, and his birthday party was supposed to include guests from Ottawa (we were in Kingston, 2h away), so we'd decided to hold it on Saturday instead. My mom started driving from Ottawa when I went into labour, and got there just as I was being stitched up.
