Have been doing a lot of reading lately, now that I think of it. Some re-reads, and lots of new stuff. Roots? Brilliant. Though I'm past the halfway mark and we're still on Kunta Kinte. There's, like, six more generations, IIRC from the miniseries. The God Delusion is redefining ambivalence for me. And the Domesday Book and Memory and Dream are a little sadder the second time around.

I'm wary about seeing the movie, because I've heard it wasn't true to the book, but I'm open if any of you say it's good.
Yeah, I heard it was a bit of a disappointment. I'm still going to see it, though. I'll let you know :)
