H1N1 Vaccine
Oct. 26th, 2009 02:10 pmDoes anyone have some good articles to link to regarding cautions re. the H1N1 vaccine? Chris wants us all to get it, and we're qualified now, being in the highest-risk groups (exposure at home and a health worker in the house). I've seen a few articles here and there, but the ones I remember had some pretty big logic holes in them, or seemed to indicate that the vaccine is safe for everyone but not completely tested yet for pregnant women and small children.

Date: 2009-10-27 12:27 pm (UTC)I don't have any links, but from what I've heard, it's as safe as the seasonal flu vaccines, which are rushed through every year, too. There's no way to "completely test" a flu vaccine on pregnant women, b/c flu vaccines have to be given before you can look at long-term effects.
