Back from The Nutcracker. Daniel seemed to enjoy a fair bit, but Justin was totally thrilled. Which, as he's the one who wanted us all to go, is pretty neat :) :) :)

I just wish I'd been able to get us all dressed up to go, but felt like ugh most of the day and didn't really have it in me to wheedle them all into nice duds. I needed no wheedling, as I was still in my choir get-up from the filming thing this morning. The NAC just feels better in fancy shmancy gear. Oh well, next time :)

And I totally hear you on the wheedling thing. Some days, it's better to choose your battles over something that matters more in the grand scheme.

Yeah, exactly. Though they don't normally have to be wheedled at all - well, the boys don't; Chris normally takes a bit of convincing. I just felt a bit meh, seeing all the other families with their shiny-shoed and velvet dress- and vest-wearing kiddoes. I remember dressing up for the NAC as a kid, and it was such a cool feeling. Besides, every time I do get the boys duded up, they kind of sparkle and run around like they're dressed for Halloween :)

Oh well. We had lots of fun anyway :) :)
