OK, all I've ever said about parenthood being wonderful and exciting and fun? I take it back. It's heartwrenching. It makes you (almost) burst into tears in a public place while watching a silly little Disney movie, and hoping your kids don't notice and ask you what's wrong, 'cause they won't understand until they have children of their own.

...and I highly recommend both movie and parenthood, if you don't mind turning into a complete sap.

Saw it today, cried at the end when Andy drove away, decided it wasn't a kids movie at all and certainly not for the age of the kids who were watching it with us, and came home feeling the absolute need to hug all my toys multiple times and tell them I love them.

I don't have kids and I still got a touch weepy at the end. Excellent movie!
