Got back my Contracts mark. 65%. Blah. I was pretty sure I hadn't done terribly well, mostly because I just couldn't bring myself to care, even during the exam. But a little part of me was kinda hoping I'd done better than I thought.
::shrug:: It's only worth 50%. I'll do better next term.
Also, I can't find my fountain pen. And since Shaeffer stopped making the cheapo $10 ones and moved to $30 models, I would really like to find it soon.
Wednesday night is so hectic for us, but somehow we're going to have to make time to figure out a guest list for Daniel and Justin's birthday party, and make out invitations. And we'll have to organize for this weekend - I'd like to see LOTR, so we have to get babysitting and all that fun stuff.
Oh, and I have to call Daniel's school to tell them I'd like to volunteer for Pizza Day next Thursday. I mentioned it to Daniel, not sure if he'd be OK with it or if he'd ask, "You're not going to tell anybody you're my mom, are you?"
Nope. He was thrilled. "I'm going to get PIZZA from my MOM!!" he told Chris and Justin and his babysitter. And he's been bugging me to call and set it up every day since I suggested it.
So cute. I really want to take advantage of this kind of thing while he's still at the "parents are cool" stage of childhood :)
Later Edit: Oh, and:

You are American Gods! You are mysterious,
intelligent, and creative. To the rest of the
world you may seem a little standoffish, but
really youre just a quiet person. Youre sort of
bookish and are intrigued by mythology and
fairy tales. You might be Wiccan or Pagan,
either that or youre unreligious. You have a
sarcastic sense of humor and are the kind of
person people like to talk to because youre
such a good listener.

Date: 2004-01-21 11:42 am (UTC)Sorry to hear about your Contracts mark.
Are your boys' birthday's close together? I noticed you said plan Daniel and Justin's birthday party.
My brother's were born exactly two years and two days apart. The first one was born March 24, 1977 and the second was born March 26, 1979. The older one said he would've enjoyed his second birthday party more if he'd have known that he'd never have another party by himself for the rest of his life!

Yeah, I can see Daniel saying that some day. So far it's been pretty good - they both just get one huge party. And yes, they are close together. Three years and one day apart. Daniel on January 30, 1997, and Justin January 29, 2000. Justin was actually born on the day that we had set as Daniel's birthday party. And since he was born very quickly and at home, we just went ahead with the party anyway :)
