Saw Return of the King last night. So glad I saw it in theatre, because so much would be kinda lost on the little screen. And it was very, very good, although I don't think it actually needed to be three hours long. From my passenger side directing chair, I could've seen shortening some of the epic battle scenes - because honestly, once you've seen twenty orcs trampled, you don't really need to see fifty more. And I think we all got that everybody was sad to see Frodo go before we spent fifteen minutes watching him say goodbye.

In any case. Glad we saw it on the big screen. Oh - and, Viggo M? Yum. Mee. And Orlando Bloom can wear pointy ears near me anytime :)

So, on today's agenda:

  • Contracts readings
  • Property readings
  • call GyneGuy
  • call Karen
  • call Laine
  • PSE, iterum, stars challenge
  • e-mail
  • calendar
  • tidy
  • laundry
  • pix
  • kids to Chapters
  • pick up veggies
  • make up menu

MmmmmmViggo. Though I've discovered I like him better all disheveled and dirty and long-haired as Aragorn than his "real life" look. Ah, well... MmmmViggo.

Glad you saw it BIG.

What I don't understand is why these actors don't get just how much better looking they are with long hair! It's obvious. I mean, they're up on the silver screen 20 feet tall. Hunky actor + long hair = super hunky actor.
