Pouting.

I was the hell-raiser at private Mennonite highschool, why didn't anyone say I'm the devil? Hmmph.

And now I'm a homeschooling, full time mother. It's weird. I am one of the funkier hsing moms I know, and I let my kids do things and learn things they shelter their kids from, but still, I am surrounded now by what I fought so valiantly then.

Oh, yes! That's a very good point. And of course, my non-conformist ways, reinforced by studying feminism and sociology, made not sending my kids to our greatest socializing institution a really easy choice. There are some great people that I've met, and I've learned to have a deeper faith in people's ability to make good choices. I used to be a complete left-wing, big-gov't kinda gal, and now I'm a left wing, quasi-libertarian, social democrat kinda gal.

And not having to do what others tell me is just brilliant! I love the freedom, the oportunities, etc.

But I think it would be better if I wasn't in such a rural environment. Winnipeg, Ottawa, I could see finding some fabulous, thoughtful people that weren't a majority of narrow minded fundamentalists.

Can't wait til tomorrow at the science fair I'm organising to see if there's any creation science!!!

Bad grammar, I know. But my brain is fried.
