Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] medee6040, this was a nifty way to pass the time whenever Property just wore me down with boredom. Who needs sedatives when you have Easements and Riparian Rights to read about? ZZZZZZzzzzzzz...

THREE THINGS I AM WEARING RIGHT NOW
  1. paint-stained blue Queen's University sweat pants
  2. maroon t-shirt
  3. white socks
why I love home days: I nourish my inner slob

THREE THINGS ON MY DESK (at home)
  1. Martin's Annual Criminal Code, 2003, Student Edition
  2. Isopropyl Alcohol (huh?)
  3. Chris' Discman

THREE THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE
  1. Homeschool my kids
  2. Backpack across Europe
  3. Have a really decadent vacation

THREE GOOD WAYS TO DESCRIBE MY PERSONALITY
  1. Snarky ;)
  2. Friendly
  3. Caring

THREE BAD THINGS ABOUT MY PERSONALITY
  1. Short tempered
  2. Frequently depressed
  3. Can hold grudges for a lifetime

THREE PARTS OF MY HERITAGE
  1. South American Indian (like, 1/64th)
  2. Scottish/Irish
  3. Spanish - apparently Basque(?)

THREE THINGS I LIKE ABOUT MY BODY
  1. My face
  2. My height
  3. My overall proportionality

THREE THINGS I DON'T LIKE ABOUT MY BODY
  1. My weight, right now
  2. My bust
  3. um... ? Maybe my skin

THREE THINGS MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
Geez, I'm pretty shameless and blabby... can't think of anything I haven't said.
  1. My mom went on vacation to Chile for weeks when I was 15-16.
  2. I can stand up to threats and hostility with no problem... am helpless against guilt-trips
  3. I once pushed a boy off a play structure because he was trying to kiss me. Went scurrying down to see if he was OK. He was bleeding, but when he said, "I'm OK and I still want to kiss you," I punched him.

THREE THINGS I SAY THE MOST
  1. Doh!
  2. Justin (or Daniel) once, Justin TWICE...
  3. Oh, buggre alle this for a lark.

THREE PLACES I WANT TO GO
  1. Antartica
  2. Australian outback. Went to Melbourne and it was Southern Ontario with parrots and the word "mate"
  3. Scottish highlands

THREE THINGS I REGRET
  1. Being depressed, and being so helpless against it.
  2. Having wasted too much time on stupid men in my youth
  3. 1999-2001

THREE THINGS I KNOW I WILL NEVER DO
  1. Abandon my children
  2. Run for Office
  3. Do a Polar Bear Swim

THREE FAMOUS PEOPLE I'D MOST LIKE TO MEET
Wow. No idea.
  1. Walter Cronkite

  1. My kids
  2. Friends
  3. Books

Met Charles de Lint in Ottawa, one visit to the House of Spec Fic about ten years ago (more?). I have no idea if that bookstore is still there, but I used to love it. He was hanging out and the whole store was just chatting about this and that. It was a little while before I realized who he was.

Met Carl Sagan a few years ago, when he came to deliver a lecture in Grant Hall at Queen's. He was an excellent speaker. Maybe this isn't so much a met as merely a saw in person. Ah...Cosmos was such an influence on my childhood. And he said "billyuns and billyuns" during the talk!

That's so cool! Is that the Speculative Fiction on 1st Avenue or something, in the Glebe? No idea if it's still there, but I used to go there every time I was in Ottawa. Wonderful little geek-haven :)

Oooohh... that makes me so jealous. Don't know how I missed that, because I would've still been living in Kingston and I would've given my right arm to see him. I memorized Cosmos as a kid, and wanted to be an astronomer for about five years - until I hit high school physics ;)

Spec Fic was on 4th Avenue in the Glebe at that time, yes.

So now I just have to stalk Walter Cronkite, is that it?

Talk about a one track mind! :) Gotta love the male species.

::points to comment above:: This is a scream! It sounds a little like the little kid version of my recent date with Birthday Boy...

Fun meme, eh? Rule of three, three for the road, three strikes... either way, it beats the living hell out of easements. (Three real estate attorneys and a baby? Noooooo!)

Medee (obviously flying on pain meds)
